Featuring vivid and vibrant interiors and a semi-industrial theme, KrisLab Studio was conceived to help develop a more creative and agile mindset in the company by providing a work environment that stimulates design thinking, promotes innovation and delivers youthful energy to a long-established company.
Krislab Studio seeks to break down the traditional vertical hierarchy in favour of a more flexible network of teams to create an agile organisation that is able to deliver faster results. To achieve this goal, they set a theme ‘ABLE” acronym for Achieve, Belong, Lean and Enjoy – a process that requires maximum flexibility and necessitates for different function use of the space.
The area is both an office and collaboration area, which houses a number of foldable tables and that they can be configured in any number of groups that suits their discussion. The same space allows all the loose furniture to be tucked in a storeroom and opens up a large event room for 100-person seating with 2 large projector screens. This same space was also planned for setting up booths to showcase their latest innovation and internal events.
Aesthetically, KrisLab Studio space has a youthful and semi-industrial with exposed ceiling details and a polished concrete floor are softened with colourful chairs and some featured colourful hexagonal design.
